    TORONTO - For the first time this season, a Gryphon has been named U SPORTS Athlete of the Week. Gryphons fourth year swimmer Phil Vranic took home the national honour following an outstanding weekend in the pool where the Toronto native collected a total of six medals over the course of two competitions.
