    OSHAWA, Ont. ? The Guelph Gryphons women's lacrosse team will head to Oshawa this weekend for the 2019 OUA Championship tournament (Oct. 18-20). The Gryphons begin play Friday afternoon with a 12:45pm opening round matchup versus York. The 10-team tournament is being hosted by Ontario Tech University with all games taking place at Vaso's Field in Oshawa.

    GUELPH, Ont. ? The 2019-20 recruiting class for the Guelph Gryphons women's basketball team includes a total of three new faces. MacKeely Shantz, a two-time MVP of the Waterloo Region high school league (WCSSAA), Reece Mungar , a NCAA Division I transfer from Northern Kentucky, and Marielle Kleuskens, a standout guard from the London Ramblers, are all set to make their official Gryphon debuts when the 2019-20 OUA regular season tips off in Kingston on November 1.

    GUELPH, Ont. - Before you could even blink Wednesday night the at Gryphon Centre, the Ryerson Rams and the Guelph Gryphons both had their offences going at full force. With eight goals scored in the first 16:55 of the game, the Gryphons had themselves a 5-3 lead after one period of play and ultimately went on to down the Rams 6-3. The victory marked Guelph's third straight win, and their second defeat of the Rams in less than a week after beating Ryerson 5-2 in Toronto on Thursday.
