    GUELPH, Ont. - Despite surrendering the opening goal of the match, the Guelph Gryphons used an offensive attack that left everyone forgetting how the contest began. Six different Gryphons found the back of the net as Guelph secured a 9-1 win over the Algoma Thunderbirds Saturday afternoon at the Gryphons Soccer Complex. Leading the way on offence for Guelph was 4th year forward Victoria Hinchliffe. After the Thunderbirds struck first on an 8th minute penalty kick, Hinchliffe would help swing the momentum back in Guelph's favour in a hurry. Hinchliffe put the Gryphons back on even ground with a 13th minute goal, before striking again just two minutes later putting Guelph up 2-1.

    GUELPH, Ont. - After suffering their first loss of the season on Sunday, the Guelph Gryphons Men's soccer team made sure it was not going to become a streak. Finding the back of the net early and often, the Gryphons rolled to a 6-0 victory over the Algoma Thunderbirds Saturday afternoon at the Gryphon Soccer Complex. Just 16 minutes into the match, the Gryphons got themselves on the board. Third-year forward Peter Zehdee made no mistake from inside the box to put Guelph up 1-0.

    GUELPH, Ont. ? Friday night at Varsity Field, the Gryphons men's rugby team suffered a 21-10 defeat at the hands of the two-time defending OUA champion Queen's Gaels. With the loss, the Gryphons fall to 2-1 while Queen's improves to 3-0.

    GUELPH, Ont. - The scoring came early and often Saturday afternoon for the Guelph Gryphons women's rugby team as they worked their way back into the win column. Playing host to the Western Mustangs, the Gryphons romped to a 119-0 victory over the visitors from London. In the opening minute of the match Guelph set the tone with a try from Emmanuela Jada. After that, it was all hands on deck for the home side as they continued to build more and more momentum all match long. Leading the way for the Gryphons, Talia Hoffman scored six tries in the contest and Aliesha Lewis tallied four of her own.
