Tunde Adeleke, a fourth-year Communications student, is one of the nation's most dynamic athletes. A defensive back by trade, Tunde has featured as the leading kick and punt return man for the Ravens since 2013, where he has been a sensational contributor on the special teams unit.
In 2015, he returned 19 kick-offs for 572 yards (1st in CIS) and averaged 30.1 yards per return (3rd in CIS). His longest kick return of the season was a 91-yard effort against Windsor in Week 3 of the OUA schedule. On punt returns, Adeleke had 31 attempts which he returned for 554 yards (2nd in CIS). His 17.9 yards per punt return ranked second in Canada, while his 3 TD returns tied for the CIS last season.
Despite the fact that Adeleke is a defensive player and only featured as a receiver on a few plays in 2015, the Ottawa, ON native managed to average the seventh-highest all-purpose yards total in the CIS with 160.9 yards per game and 1126 yards overall.
Adeleke will continue to supply strong coverage in the secondary while threatening opponents with gamebreaker potential each and every time he touches the ball on special teams in 2016.
