Sam Hopewell and Andrew Marcoux both scored a pair of goals in the victory. Also contributing tallies for Nipissing were Josh McKinnon, Marcus Pryde, Nathan Hewitt and Brandon Happeney.
Nipissing had a 1-0 lead after one period before blowing the game wide open in the second with four-straight goals.
Scoring for the Stingers were Andrew Palombaro and Kyle Kelly.
RMC 4, OTTAWA 1
At Ottawa, Matthew Pinder scored a pair of goals to lead the RMC Paladins (1-1-0) to a 4-1 victory over the Gee-Gees (0-2-0) on Saturday.
Also scoring for the Paladins were Michael Soros and Paul Whalen.
Pierre Bergeron scored Ottawa's lone marker, on assists by Sean Smyth and Ryne Gove.
UQTR 4, RYERSON 3, SO
At UQTR, Francis Charland scored the game-winner in the shootout as the host Patriotes (2-0-0) defeated the Ryerson Rams 4-3 on Saturday.
Ryerson (1-0-1) held a 3-2 lead late when Alexandre Blais knocked in his second of the game for the Patriotes with 75 seconds remaining in regulation.
Jean-Sebastien Breton also scored for UQTR. Netting goals for Ryerson were Stewart Deall, Andrew Buck and Josh McNair.
LAKEHEAD 9, YORK 2
At Lakehead, Adam Sergerie scored two goals to lead the Lakehead Thunderwolves (2-0-0) to a 9-2 rout of the York Lions (0-2-0) on Saturday.
Andrew Wilkins, Shandor Alphonso, Mark Soares, Brock McPherson, Kris Hogg, Pierre-Marc Guilbault and Andy Hyvarinen.
Jaskirat Gill netted both goals for the Lions.
BROCK 5, WESTERN 3
At Western, the defending OUA champion Mustangs (0-2-0) fell 5-3 to the Brock Badgers (3-0-0) on Saturday.
The Badgers took control of the game in the second period with three unanswered goals.
Five different Brock players hit pay dirt, including Steve Miller, Eric Toonders, Isaac Smeltzer, Joe Tolles and Kirk Pearce.
Scoring for the Mustangs were Kyle Lamb, Patrick Lee and Jason Furlong.
WATERLOO 5, WINDSOR 4
At Windsor, the Waterloo Warriors (2-0-0) edged the Windsor Lancers 5-4 on Saturday.
Chris Ray knocked in a pair of goals for the Warriors. Also scoring for Waterloo were Cory Fraser, Mark Hartman and Shane Hart.
Mark Thorburn scored a pair of goals for the Lancers (0-2-0). Matt McCready and Ryan Federman also scored for Windsor.
LAURIER 4, UOIT 3
At Wilfrid Laurier, the Golden Hawks (2-0-0) scored the first three goals and held on to a 4-3 win over the UOIT Ridgebacks (0-3-0) on Saturday.
Four different scorers led the way for the Hawks, including Colin Williams, Jordan Bonneville, Nathan Peacock and Jean-Michel Rizk.
Jeremy Whelan, Josh Vatri and Derrick Bagshaw scored for UOIT.
CARLETON 4, TORONTO 1
At Carleton, Brandon MacLean scored two goals to lead the Ravens (2-0-0) to a 4-1 win over the Toronto Varsity Blues (1-1-0) on Saturday.
Christian Boudeau-Mifflen and Ryan Berard also scored for the Ravens.
Joel Lenius scored for the Varsity Blues, on helpers from Paul Dupont and David Mooney.
RYERSON 4, CONCORDIA 3
At Concordia, Brent Small scored the game-winning goal on the power play in the third period to lead the Ryerson Rams to a 4-3 win over the Stingers on Friday.
Also scoring for the Rams were Cory Konecny, Andrew Buck and Kevin Krasnowski.
Cory McGillis knocked in a pair for the Stingers in a losing effort. Also scoring for Concordia was Renaud Des Alliers.
TORONTO 2, OTTAWA 1
At Ottawa, the Toronto Varsity Blues scored a pair of second period goals to defeat the Gee-Gees on Friday.
Brent McGrail and Sean Fontyn both scored for the Blues.
Scoring Ottawa's lone goal was Simren Sandhu on assists from Matthieu Methot and Thomas Baubriau.
UQTR 8, NIPISSING 3
AT UQTR, Alexandre Demers netted a pair of goals to lead the Patriotes to a 8-3 win over the Nipissing Lakers on Friday.
Steve Bellefleur, Jean-Sebastien Breton, Philippe Bronsard, Etienne Bellavance-Martin, Francis Charland and Pierre-Alexandre Joncas also scored for UQTR.
Scoring for the Lakers were Matt Lahey, Nathan Hewitt and Andrew Marcoux.

At Lakehead, the Thunderwolves scored three unanswered goals in the third period to defeat the York Lions 4-1 on Friday.
Andrew Wilkins, Scott Dobben, Kris Hogg and Kalvin Sagert all hit pay dirt for the Thunderwolves.
Nathaniel Brooks scored York's lone tally, set up by Tyler Harrison.

At Waterloo, Jarrett Schnurr scored two goals to lead the Warriors past the Western Mustangs 4-1 on Friday.
Kirt Hill and Kyle Pellerin also scored for the Warriors.
Western's lone goal came off the stick of Geoff Killing on an assist by Ryan McDonough.
BROCK 2, WINDSOR 1
At Windsor, the Brock Badgers edged the Lancers 2-1 on Friday.
Joe Tolles and Steve Pattison scored for the Badgers.
Danny Anger tallied Windsor's lone goal on helpers from Matt McCready and Kyle Lang.
LAURIER 4, GUELPH 2
At Guelph, Jeff Borrows scored twice to lead the Wilfrid Laurier Golden Hawks past the Guelph Gryphons 4-2 on Friday.
Also scoring for the Hawks were Craig Voakes and Nathan Peacock.
Netting goals for the Gryphons (1-1-0) were Cale Jefferies and David Volpe.
CARLETON 6, RMC 2
At Carleton, Andrew Self scored two goals for the Ravens in a 6-2 victory over the RMC Paladins on Friday.
Robert Mark Smith, Derek Wells, Ryan Berard and Justin Caruana also scored for the Ravens.
Michael Soros netted both goals for RMC.
