OUA announces continued streaming partnership with CBC Sports
Burlington, Ont. – Ontario University Athletics (OUA) is pleased to announce the continuation of its streaming partnership agreement with CBC Sports for the 2023-24 season.
From the fields to the courts and much more in between, select OUA action for the upcoming year will once again be featured across cbcsports.ca, the CBC Sports app for iOS and Android devices, and the free CBC Gem streaming service.
“Being able to showcase the outstanding OUA product on the CBC Sports digital platforms has been an incredible opportunity over these past couple years and we look forward to continued success this season,” said Gord Grace, OUA President & CEO. “Our student-athletes deserve to be in the spotlight as they compete for their respective schools on some of the province’s biggest stages, and having the support from CBC Sports has proven to be a terrific means of showcasing their talent, hard work, and dedication to an even wider audience across the country.”
One of the most eagerly awaited games across the varsity sport schedule, the 54th edition of the Panda Game, will be the first OUA event featured across the CBC Sports digital platforms this year. The Ottawa Gee-Gees and Carleton Ravens will kick off their annual football festivities on Sunday, October 1 at 12 p.m. ET from TD Place in Ottawa.
Included among the additional events being featured on the CBC Sports digital platforms this fall, meanwhile, will be the OUA Women’s Rugby Championship (October 27th), Women’s and Men’s Soccer Championships (November 4th), and the 115th Yates Cup (November 11th).
