GUELPH, Ont. – On Saturday, June 13, 2026 at the University of Guelph's Creelman Hall, the latest round of inductees into the Gryphon Hall of Fame were officially enshrined. Four athletes, four teams and two builders all had their names called as part of the 2026 Hall of Fame Class, with over 250 guests in attendance for the ceremony.

The Department of Athletics at the University of Guelph is hosting the 2025 President's Golf Tournament, an annual fundraising golf tournament in support of Gryphon student-athlete scholarships. The 2024 edition of The President's Golf Tournament raised $65,000, with proceeds going directly towards supporting Gryphon student-athletes and varsity programming. Our objective is not only to attract the best and brightest student-athletes in the country, but also to provide them with the ultimate student experience, both athletically and academically. Gryphon Athletics is proud to provide a wide range of corporate opportunities for our annual President's Golf Tournament, with a variety of sponsorship levels and recognition opportunities available, ranging from exclusivities to supporters and contributors.
GUELPH, Ont. – Canadian Football League (CFL) preseason action returns to the University of Guelph's Alumni Stadium on Friday, May 29 when the Toronto Argonauts host the Hamilton Tiger-Cats for a 7pm kickoff. Whether on the field, coaching on the sidelines, or in the front office, both the Argos and Ticats boast several individuals with University of Guelph ties, as a total of six individuals (three on the Argos, three on the Ticats) are currently representing the Gryphon football program at the professional level.
