Banner Season: Men's pool play complete, quarterfinals set amidst busy Day 2
CAMBRIDGE, Ont. (via Guelph Gryphons) – The field has been cut from 16 down to eight at the 2025 OUA Men’s Curling Championship, with pool play wrapping up on Saturday (Feb. 8) at the Galt Country Club in Cambridge.
The Carleton Ravens and Brock Badgers were the only two teams to go undefeated during pool play, posting 4-0 records to secure their spot in the OUA quarterfinal stage, which is set for Sunday morning at 9am. The other six schools advancing to the knockout stage include the Waterloo Warriors (3-1), TMU Bold (3-1), Queen’s Gaels (3-1), York Lions (2-2), Toronto Varsity Blues (2-2) and the four-time defending OUA champion-Wilfrid Laurier Golden Hawks (3-1).

Sunday (Feb. 9) will mark the final day of competition at the 2025 OUA Men’s Curling Championship, with the 9am quarterfinals followed by 12:30pm semifinals and 4pm gold and bronze medal draws. The top three schools at the end of the weekend will clinch a berth into the 2025 U SPORTS Curling Championships in Lethbridge, Alberta (Feb. 24-28).
