In a week filled with offensive standouts across the conference, one of the true difference-makers was Wilfrid Laurier's Ente Eguavoen, who put his name among the Golden Hawks greats in what could have been his final home game with the purple and gold.
The fifth-year receiver from Mississauga, Ont. was all over the scoresheet against the Lancers, putting up career-best marks in receptions, yards, and touchdowns in an important West Division matchup. Coming in tied with their Week 6 foes, Laurier needed a win and the sociology major did everything in his power to make that happen. Eguavoen's first big play came halfway through the second quarter to break up what was a defensive battle to that point, as he reeled in a 54-yard touchdown - which matched a career long - to push his team's lead to nine at the time.
That wasn't his only big play production for the game; however, as he doubled down with another lengthy touchdown of 48 yards in the final frame. This second major capped off what was a 10-reception, 222-yard performance for the dynamic receiver in his team's 33-8 victory.
With the performance, Eguavoen moved into second in the school's record books for most receiving yards in a game, passing Stefan Ptaszek on the all-time list.

It wasn't just on offence that the Golden Hawks soared on Saturday, but defensively as well, and at the heart of the potent purple and gold pressure was once again Tommy Bringi.
It wasn't hard to find Bringi's name on the scoresheet in this one, as the talented linebacker made his presence felt in more ways than one for the vaunted Laurier defence. Not only did he record a game-high tying and personal season high seven tackles, including five solo, he was a key figure in the turnover battle as well.
Late in the first quarter, Bringi made an early mark by securing an interception off of Windsor quarterback Sam Girard. The deflected ball ended up in the sure hands of the third-year psychology major, who added a modest eight-yard return afterwards. Putting a feather in the cap of his busy day, the London, Ont. native was also a key figure in another Lancer turnover, as he forced a fumble from Jalem Catlin late in the first half - which was then scooped up by teammate Christian Hutter-Coppin - to put an end to the threatening drive in the Laurier redzone.
The productive performance has Bringi ranked in the OUA's top 10 in total tackles (27.5) and tied for first in the league in interceptions (3).

In a game that saw the Marauders make their back into the win column with an all-around team effort, some of the biggest contributions came via Jackson Cooling in the return game.
The first-year receiver was dangerous each time he touched the ball, which he had the opportunity to do eight times off of York kicks. The elusive Burlington, Ont. native collected a total of 151 yards of punt return production, which frequently helped McMaster earn the battle for field position and set them up for offensive success. Once getting his hands on the ball, he was able to run back five returns of double-digit yardage, including four of at least 20 yards and two that put the maroon machine deep in York territory.
There was no cooling off the commerce major down the stretch, either, as Cooling capped off his day by putting McMaster's final points on the board. He did so with his longest play of the day, turning a 62-yard return late in the fourth quarter into a touchdown to close out a terrific day for the special teams standout and the Marauders as a whole.
Cooling would also add 66 yards receiving for the Marauders on offence.
