Banner Season: Toronto's individual accolades lead to sixth straight OUA title

Aylmer, Ont. (via McMaster Marauders) - For the sixth straight season, the Toronto Varsity Blues captured the OUA figure skating title during the two-day event hosted by the McMaster Marauders at the East Elgin Community Centre.

The Varsity Blues separated themselves from the pack, picking up the most gold medals with five.

The Western Mustangs earned the overall silver medal, highlighted by two gold medals. Meanwhile, the host Marauders, picked up three gold medals to finish third overall.

In a unanimous decision, the Spirit Award, given to the team that exemplifies high energy, teamwork, and spirit, was awarded to the Brock Badgers.

The Coach of the Year award, voted on by the coaches, was given to Carleton Ravens' Laura Kilpatrick.
