Brock Wrestling Well Represented At Senior World Championships In Paris

Brock University wrestling will be well represented at the Senior World Championships August 21-26, 2017 in Paris, France.

"We have a strong group of wrestlers competing at the Senior World Championships," said Brock head coach Marty Calder. "They have all worked tremendously hard in the wrestling room day in and day out and I am looking forward to seeing them all compete for gold at this prestigious world wrestling event."

The Badgers will have five club wrestlers competing, which includes 2017 Canadian National Champions Jessica MacDonald, Diana Weicker, Michelle Fazzari, Olivia Di Bacco and Jevon Balfour. Also competing is Brock University wrestling alumni Jasmine Mian.

On part of the Canadian coaching staff is current Brock head coach Marty Calder alumni Brock alumni Tonya Verbeek, a three -time Olympic medalist and current National Team Coach along with alumni Paul Ragusa.
