Storming toward the finish line of the OUA regular season, the McMaster women's rugby team handed out another heavy defeat on Saturday, this time taking aim at the Toronto Varsity Blues. The Marauders tallied a whopping 14 tries to thump the Blues 86-5 in the penultimate game of their season.

Storming toward the finish line of the OUA regular season, the McMaster women's rugby team handed out another heavy defeat on Saturday, this time taking aim at the Toronto Varsity Blues. The Marauders tallied a whopping 14 tries to thump the Blues 86-5 in the penultimate game of their season.
Ashley Gordon was the star of a crowded show, crossing the try line three times and racking up six converts for a personal total of 27 points, while Rina Charalampis and Saffara Whiteley-Hoffelner also collected three tries. Cindy Nelles and Madi Jenkins had two, and Maddy Seatle added a single try in the afternoon romp.
McMaster will complete their regular season schedule on Friday, October 9, when they welcome the York Lions to Back 10 Field.
