LAKEHEAD HOCKEY FANS HELP IN SOUTH ASIAN RELIEF
Lakehead Thunderwolves hockey fans opened their hearts and their wallets at Saturday's non-conference game vs. the UQTR Patriotes. The Red Cross collected $1158.57 for the South Asian Tsunami and Earthquake Relief Fund in the lobby of the Fort William Gardens before the game and during the period intermissions.
Unfortunately, the Thunderwolves lost to UQTR Saturday night, but the Red Cross was the big winner on the night in its efforts to help the victims of this tragedy.
