LADY VEES TEAR UP HOME COURSE, ANDERSON WINS RAMSEY TOUR
The race which wound its way through the Laurentian campus and Lo-Ellen Park neighbourhood was a combination of road and crusher-dust trail. This did not faze the home-town Lady Vees as they placed first with at team total of 18 points led by Anderson in a time of 19:07. Maggie Robins of Port Perry, Ont. finished second at 19:12; third was Emma Tallman of Mindemoya, Ont. in 19:26. The other two scorers were Stephanie Flieler of Trenton, Ont. in fifth with a time of 19:48 and Mathilde Demroy of Sudbury, Ont. who ran 21:01 good for seventh place.

"It was an excellent start for us," said Laurentian head coach Dick Moss. "I can't remember when we've had four runners under 20 minutes in this race, and we held out several of our top runners because of illness and injury; we're off to a good start."
