BADGER MEN AND WOMEN GO 3-0 AT WEST SECTIONALS

WINDSOR - The Brock Badgers men's and women's curling teams began their seasons on a high after sweeping all three of their matches in the OUA West Sectionals in Windsor, ON. last weekend. The Brock women dominated the four-team event, posting impressive victories over the host Lancers (13-4), the defending OUA champion Waterloo Warriors (10-4) and the Western Mustangs (13-5).

Brock's men proved they have the ability to contend for the title, as well, as they started the torunament off with a lopsided 10-2 victory over the Lancers. Brock then beat the 2005 men's champions from Waterloo 10-4 and finished the day off with an 8-5 win over the Mustangs.
