In 8 games Lumsden scored 21 touchdowns setting a new CIS record for the most touchdowns scored in a single season.
Lumsden, who has been scouted by NFL teams, has been named CIS Offensive Football Player of the Week on four separate occasions this year.
COACH OF THE YEAR
Gary Jeffries - Laurier
In his second full season as the Laurier Golden Hawks Manager of Football Operations and Head Coach, Gary Jeffries has led the Hawks to their first perfect season (8-0-0) in 38 years. Their undefeated record ranked the Waterloo-based team second overall in Canada.
Despite Laurier's controversial off-season, Jeffries has held together the team, overcoming all obstacles and distractions to lead the Hawks back to a spot in the Yates Cup.
Coaching in his 16th Yates Cups, Jeffries hopes that his second appearance at the championship game as a head coach will be a victorious one.
NORM MARSHALL TROPHY
ROOKIE OF THE YEAR
Daryl Stephenson - Windsor

The London, ON native rushed for a total of 1192 yards on only 177 attempts, averaging 6.66 yards per carry. These successful rushing yards contributed to his five touchdowns of the season.
Stephenson's 1192 yards set a Windsor record for the most rushing yards recorded by any freshman. The most captivating moment in his rookie year came when he scored a 58-yard touchdown run on his very first CIS carry. This outstanding athlete has contributed immensely to his team in a short time and will no doubt become one of the top running backs in the nation in years to come.
PRESIDENT'S TROPHY
STANDUP DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR
Jason Pottinger - McMaster
