Gryphons kickoff 2011 fall training camp
GUELPH, Ont. – The University of Guelph Gryphons football team opens its 2011 fall training camp on Sunday, August 21 with player arrivals and orientation.
Two-a-day practices will commence Monday (Aug. 22) and run all week. All practices will take place at Varsity Field. Gryphon fans, alumni and supporters from the community are invited to attend practices during training camp.
The Gryphons will host a controlled scrimmage against the Concordia Stingers of the Quebec Student Sports Federation (QSSF) on Saturday (Aug. 27) at 1:00 p.m. in Alumni Stadium. Guelph opens the regular season at home on Monday, September 5 against the Ottawa Gee-Gees.
Players and coaches will be available to the media immediately following the end of each practice.
Season tickets are available for purchase on gryphons.ca. All students get in free for Guelph’s home opener on September 5.
