OUA ANNOUNCES COACH OF THE YEAR AWARDS

HAMILTON – Ontario University Athletics is pleased to announce the Men’s Rugby Coach of the Year awards as voted by the league’s coaches.

Peter Huigenbos of the Queen’s Golden Gaels is the East Division Coach of the Year. Huigenbos led the Golden Gaels to a first-place finish in the East with a solid 6-2-0 record. Queen’s advanced to the OUA semi-finals where they lost to the Western Mustangs.

Waterloo Warriors coach Craig Stuart was named the East Division Coach of the Year. Stuart guided the Warriors to a 4-4 record including two wins in the final three games.
