Queen’s 21 Waterloo 7
The Queen’s Golden Gaels maintained their perfect record (5-0)on the season as they got by the Waterloo Warriors 21-7 in Waterloo Saturday. Justin Chang, Kai Sorenson and James Potter each had tries for the Golden Gaels. Michael Aesen had the lone try for the Warriors, while Matt Solomon added a conversion.
Western 40 Brock 7
The Western Mustangs got two tries and five conversions for 20 points from Sam Jenkins as they defeated the Brock Badgers 40-7. Kevin Feheley added a pair of tries for the Mustangs, while Jeff Groleau had Brock’s only try of the match.
McMaster 77 Carleton 0
Four McMaster players scored in double figures as the undefeated marauders stormed past the Carleton Ravens 77-0 at Back 10 Field Saturday. Shawn Windsor led McMaster with 23 points on three tries and four conversions. Daniel West and Steve Shortly chipped in three tries each and Spencer Fullerton scored two tries and added two conversions. Fullerton leads all CIS players with 52 points in five games. The Marauders are 5-0 alone atop the West division.
Laurier 46 Toronto 0
The Laurier Golden Hawks improved to 2-3 on the season as they shut-out the Toronto Varsity Blues 46-0 Saturday. Andrew Ehgoetz and Matt Nichols had two tries apiece to lead Laurier. Jeff Cooper added six points for the Golden Hawks with three conversions.
Guelph 24 RMC 0
The Guelph Gryhpons traveled to Kingston and came away with their first victory of the season, 24-0 win over the RMC Paladins Saturday. Matt Hendrie had 10 points from two tries. Geoff Sinke chipped in a pair of conversions for Guelph.
