BULLOCK STRIKE SECURES BIG 2-1 WIN FOR OTTAWA
The Gee-Gees opened the scoring in the 28th minute as Val May netted her fourth goal of the campaign converting on a Maude Filion-Collin cross. Bullock (pictured) netted the winner early in the second half, scoring on a scramble off of a corner kick.
Eilish McConville replied in the 78th minute for the Gaels.
Ottawa outshot Queen's 7-4, with Kat Vulic earning her fourth victory of the season.
With the win, Ottawa improves to 4-0-2, while Queen's falls to 4-1-1. Up next for the Garnet and Grey is a Saturday afternoon showdown with the sixth Ryerson University Rams (2-3-0) in Toronto. Game time is 3 p.m.
