THUNDERWOLVES WELL REPRESENTED AT ONTARIO JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS
THUNDER BAY, Ont. - This weekend, a contingent of Lakehead Thunderwolves men's and women's varsity wrestlers will be travelling to Hamilton, Ont. to take part in the Ontario Junior Championships. The Ontario Junior Championships is a competition for young men and women from 18-19 years of age.
Lakehead head coach Owen Dawkins said the championships give the young Wolves to measure themselves against wrestlers of their own age group in the province.
"This tournament is great because it gives our first year wrestlers a chance to wrestle against wrestlers their own age and skill level and gain valuable experience."
Lakehead will be sending nine men and two women to the championships.
