The Queen’s Golden Gaels defeated the Trent Excalibur 32-0 in women’s rugby action Saturday at Kingston Field.

Laurier 27 York 13
The Wilfrid Laurier Golden Hawks won their first game of the women’s rugby season with a 27-13 victory over the York Lions Sunday. Traci Thomson led the Laurier scoring with 10 points on two tries, while Missy Paterak added a try and conversion. Gillian Donkers and Lindsay Wood also had tries for the Golden Hawks. Cheryl Phillips led York with eight points on a try and penalty goal.
