WARRIORS PICK UP SECOND WIN OF THE SEASON

Andrea Meyer and Melissa Cesana each had a try to lead the Waterloo Warriors over the Toronto Varsity Blues 13-5 Saturday. Kendra Cooke added a penalty goal for the Warriors, while Michelle Denish had Toronto’s only try.
Laurier 35 York 17
The Wilfrid Laurier Golden Hawks got two tries each from Lindsay Wood and Karen Andrychuk to beat the York Lions 35-17 Saturday. Missy Paterak converted all five of Laurier’s tries for 10 points. Captain Cheryl Phillips was dominating on the York side, as she accounted for all 17 of her team’s points on three tries and a conversion.

The Western Mustangs picked up a road win in Guelph after defeating the hometown Gryphons 33-5 Sunday. Four different Mustangs had tries, while Jennifer Wong was perfect on all four conversion attempts to lead Western with eight points. Sarah Hrabi had Guelph’s only try.
Brock 25 McMaster 3
Paige Gregson had two conversions and two penalty goals for 10 points as the Brock Badgers defeated the McMaster Marauders 25-3 Sunday.
