The Guelph Gryphons traveled to Toronto Saturday and came away with a decisive 57-0 win. Meghan Howatt scored three tires for 15 points, while Michelle Joslin added two tries. The Gryphons are 2-0 after two matches and have surrendered just three points on the season.
Waterloo 25 McMaster 22
The Waterloo Warriors got two tries from Sam Kristoferson as they narrowly downed the McMaster Marauders 25-22 Saturday. Melissa Cesna, Kendra Cooke and Jody Fund all had tries for the winners, while Sarah Van Hoof led the Marauders with two tries.
Western 78 Brock 0
The Western Mustangs dominated the Brock Badgers in a 78-0 in London Saturday. Tanja Ness had three tries in the Mustangs win, while Barnara Mervin added two more. Eight other players scored tries for Western who sit at 2-0 with Guelph atop the Sheils Division.
Queen’s 53 York 5
The Queen’s Golden Gaels upped their record to 3-0 with a big 53-5 win over the York Lions at Kingston Field Saturday. Charlene Butler had 13 of Queen’s points on a try and four conversions. Kelly Lagace chipped in two tries for the Golden Gaels.
