University of Toronto faces another upset and injury
The University of Toronto Varsity Blues suffered another three game sweep in OUA action on Saturday at home at the Athletic Centre. The Blues were beaten by the McMaster University Marauders (25-18, 25-20, 25-22). Varsity Blues Senan Farrell recorded a team high of 9 kills, while Co-captain Brendan Peel went down with a stress fracture adding him to the injured list. McMaster Marauder Steve Murray had a marvellous game talling 17 kills, 6 digs and 2 service aces. Sean Panchal also added to the Marauders success with 25 assists and 8 digs.

Second place team Windsor Lancers keep moving forward on the success meter
The Waterloo Warriors had a disappointing loss (17-25, 17-25, 16-25) while the Windsor Lancers capitalize on yet another victory. Warriors Brent Forres played well in the loss with 11 kills while veteran setter Brian Fuchs posted 16 assists and 2 crucial attacks. Windsor Lancer David Paterson tallied 7 kills and one solo block, while Agostino Dipietro recorded 8 kills and 2 service aces. This is another big win for the Windsor Lancers who are fighting strong for the first place finish in the OUA.
York 3, RMC 1
York Lion's dominate the RMC Paladins while Brad Girardo takes Player of the Game honours.
The York Lions men's squad pulled out a tough 3-1 (25-21, 24-26, 26-24, 30-28) victory to remain undefeated (6-0) in conference play. Lion's setter Brad Girardo was named the Player of the Game with his team-high 33 assists and nine digs. Paul Podstawka led the offense with 17 kills and 18 points. Two other York players hit double digits in kills, Ryan Anderson with 10, and Jason Kinoshita with 11. The Paladins were led by the offensive smashing of Ivan Karin, who recorded a team-high 17 kills. RMC's Jonathan Lucas picked up a game-high 43 assists.
