RYERSON CONTINUES WINNING STREAK

The Ryerson Rams came into Wednesday's game against the Toronto Varsity Blues with a little confidence after winning the Killer Instinct Invitational. Playing a steadily action packed game the Rams took the match, winning 3 out of the 4 sets. Ryan Vandenburg led his team with 16 kills, 6 digs and an impressive 3 solo blocks. Anton Hauser recorded another solid performance with 15 kills. Gregory Marszalek performed exceptionally well and added 50 assists to the teams win. Varsity Blues Adrian Weglo tallied 16 kills while second year setter James MacKay added 29 assists.

The Laurier Golden Hawks set out for an intense match-up against the Western Mustangs for Wednesday night volleyball. The Mustangs, riding a four-game winning streak, were determined to move up in the league standing. Mustangs Peter Sidler, a fifth-year right side, led the Mustang hit parade with 16 kills, 9 digs and a huge solo block. Adam Dumond followed closely behind with 10 kills and 5 digs. Alexander Jerome showed outstanding defense and picked up 15 digs. Golden Hawks Jamieson Bondarenko led his team with 7 kills and 9 digs.
