YORK LIONS STAY FIRST IN THE OUA STANDINGS!
York 3, Laurier 0
The York Lions head into this weekends competition undefeated and remain undefeated after taking 3 straight games from the Laurier Golden Hawks. Although it was a close game the Lions dominated the floor with scores of 25-18, 25-20, and 25-16. Lions Sholan Trivedi led the team with 10 kills and a solo block, while veteran setter Jason Kinoshita added 20 assists to the team's victory. Leading for the Laurier Hawks was Jamieson Bondarenko with 9 digs and a solo block. Second year setter Brent Harris tallied 17 assists and 2 kills to the game.
Ryerson 3, RMC 0
The third place Ryerson Rams took on the RMC Paladins in this weekends match-up. Victorious Rams smashed the Paladins with scores of 25-17, 25-12, and 25-18. Rams top leader was Ryan Vandenburg tallying 13 kills, 2 digs and six impressive services aces. Gregory Marszalek added 22 assists to the team's victory while Roger Marszalek added three notable services aces. Paladin's top performer was Reid Wuntke tallied nine kills, four digs and two services aces.

The Toronto Varsity Blues were hosts to the Queen's Golden Gaels in a head to head battle between the 6th and 7th place team. Blues playing in front of a home crowd put on an incredible performance by wiping out the Golden Gaels with scores of 25-19, 25-19 and 25-16. Leading the Blues was Brandon Peel with 9 kills and 9 digs. Blues strong defensive game was led by Senan Farrell with 21 digs, Adrian Weglo 17 digs and Bowie Chung with 16 digs. Golden Gaels Justin Kitney led the team with 8 kills and two service aces.
