COULIBALY NAMED CIS ROOKIE OF THE YEAR

At the all-Canadian ceremony at McGill University, University of Ottawa's Ramata Coulibaly (Ottawa) received Tissot Rookie of the Year honours, for her scoring ability. Coulibaly, who netted 12 goals in 12 games, shared the most goals in the nation with Player of the Year Danielle Day. The OUA had eight athletes named to the all-Canadian teams.

TISSOT ROOKIE OF THE YEAR: Ramata Coulibaly, University of Ottawa Gee-Gees
Striker Roumata Coulibaly becomes the first Ottawa Gee-Gee to be named Tissot rookie of the year since the inception of the award in 1996. Described as the fastest player on her team, the 5-foot-11 Ottawa native created space for herself and the Gee-Gees midfielders all season, finishing with 12 goals in 12 outings.
