ADVISORY: WOMEN'S HOCKEY GAMES POSTPONED DUE TO H1N1
HAMILTON, Ont. - Ontario University Athletics (OUA) announced today that two women's hockey games to be played by the Waterloo Warriors on Oct. 31 and Nov. 1 have been postponed in accordance to OUA's H1N1 policy.
Two members of the Warriors have confirmed cases of the H1N1 virius, and other members of the team have flu-like symptoms. The games to be hosted by the York Lions on Oct. 31 and the Toronto Varsity Blues on Nov. 1 will be rescheduled for a later date.
Ontario University Athletics (OUA) and its 19 member institutions are developing Champions For Life. Giving 9,000 student-athletes the opportunity to excel academically and on the playing field, while preparing for life after university. For more information, visit OUA.ca.
