Forward Scott Dobben, who redshirted last season, will also be in the thick of things as will former Guelph star forward Jesse Pyatt, former Fort William North Stars defenseman Ryan Baird, and last year's redshirt forward Adam Sergerie.
Also challenging for roster spots are Adam Davis and Curtis Lambkin in goal, Mathew Mitchell, Anthony Gorenszach, and Michael Thibert at defence, and forwards Yves Bernard, David George, Jeff Manryk, Frederick Giroux, Joseph Ryan, Brooks Meijia, Devin Moneta, Jari Pihelgas, and Davis Proulx.
The theme of this year's camp is again 'The Seven C's'. The Seven C's are Command (of our responsibilities), Cohesion (Team first), Community (Thunder Bay's Team), Commitment (Achieve our objectives), Cooperation (Teamwork), Conditioning (Proper Preparation Produces Perfect Performance), and Communication (Talk the talk and walk the walk).
Head Coach Don McKee said he and his staff have prepared a very demanding camp that will challenge every player to achieve to his fullest potential. "Training Camp opens on Sept. 2nd and it should result in a very competitive environment as players compete for positions. Our East-West game on Sept. 16th at the Tournament. Centre will be a great opportunity to see both our returnees and new prospects in action and we will see what we need to do from there."
Coach McKee also extends a warm welcome to all Thunderwolves' fans and the media to attend select on-ice Training Camp scrimmages and training sessions. This year's camp will again begin at the Tournament Centre and finish off at the Fort William Gardens.
