Sosnoski and Deviller named Pioneer Energy OUA athletes of the week

FEMALE: Jenna Sosnoski, Brock Badgers, Hockey
First-year goaltender Jenna Sosnoski helped lead the Brock women's hockey team to back-to-back shootout victories, highlighted by an upset over the No. 2 ranked Laurier Golden Hawks on Thursday evening at the Seymour-Hannah Centre. The rookie netminder recorded a career high 52 saves and turned aside all six Laurier shooters for the 4-3 win. On Sunday against the Waterloo Warriors, the New Dundee, Ont., native added 27 saves and stopped nine of 10 shooters she faced in shootout to log another 4-3 victory for the Badgers. Sosnoski recorded a .929 save percentage for the weekend.
MALE: Evan Deviller, Royal Military College of Canada Paladins, Hockey
Third-year goaltender Evan Deviller registered an astounding 94 saves over two games this past weekend for the Paladins. The Sackville, N.B., native recorded 50 saves in RMC's 4-2 home-ice win over UOIT on Friday evening. On Saturday, Deviller's 44 saves was the lone brightspot in RMC's 7-1 loss against the No. 9 Carleton Ravens.
