OUA PROSPECT TOPS LATEST CFL RANKING
TSN will broadcast the first two rounds of this year's CFL Canadian Draft on May 2, from noon until 2 p.m. ET.
Williams' strong season coupled with a great Vanier Cup performance had him jump from 15th last September to first in the April edition of the list. A good showing at the CFL Evaluation Camp presented by Reebok held last March in Toronto confirmed his status as one of the top prospects of this year's draft.
Bishop's receivers Shawn Gore (10th) and Steven Turner (14th) enter the list for the first time after very strong outings during the weekend of Evaluation Camp. While Gore got his share of attention working his craft against defensive backs on Sunday, Turner raised eyebrows during both days of testing, posting a record time of 4.31 seconds in the 40-yard dash and a vertical leap of 43.5 inches, finishing just a half-inch shy of the record set in 2009 by former Gaiter, and now BC Lion, Jamall Lee.
Other E-Camp participants cracking the top-5 include linebacker Cory Greenwood (3rd) from Concordia and offensive Lineman Joe Eppele (5th) from Washington State.
