PYATT KEEPS LIGHTING LAMP FOR GRYPHS
The Gryphons' team captain is nearing Guelph's all-time record of 27 goals in a single season set by Eric Ross in 1994-95.
With 121 points over his four-year career to date, he is ranked eighth on the all-time points list, with four games remaining to move up the charts.
Pyatt is also sharing the limelight with his two linemates, Matt Willoughby (Winnipeg, MB) and Thomas Laplante (Ste-Foy, QC). They are also amongst the leaders in OUA scoring. Willoughby ranks third with 29 points in 21 games played, while Laplante follows up in seventh spot with 26 points in 18 contests.
Head coach Jeff Reid refers to Jesse as "a man on a mission this season. Other teams have been zeroing in on him all year and he still gets the job done. Not only is he getting it done, he is making his linemates better every night."
Pyatt has received numerous calls from pro scouts, but he is dedicated to finishing his Sociology degree at the University of Guelph before pursuing any hockey dreams.
