RMC WOMEN'S BASKETBALL FORFEITS TWO GAMES
KINGSTON, Ont. - Due to a number of injuries and institutional academic restrictions, RMC women's basketball has forfeited their scheduled games against The University of Western Ontario on Friday, Nov. 20 and University of Windsor on Saturday, Nov. 21.
"It is unfortunate that we are in this position," commented Darren Cates, RMC director of athletics.
"All members of the women's basketball team and their coaching staff work very hard, and to be in a position where we can't compete in scheduled games is disappointing," he added.
RMC has taken steps to ensure the women's basketball team can continue with the remainder of their OUA schedule. RMC returns to action Nov. 27 versus Brock University at 6 p.m. at the KMCSC.
