RYERSON RAMS WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL TEAM TO FORFEIT WEEKEND GAMES
TORONTO - Eight members of the Ryerson Rams women's volleyball team, and three members of the men's basketball team have been suspended by the university until Nov. 5 for violating the Behaviour and General Rules provisions of the Ryerson Athletes' Handbook.
As a result, the women's volleyball team will not have enough players for games this weekend against Brock University and the University of Waterloo and will forfeit the matches.
Ryerson takes the Behaviour and General Rules provisions of the Athletes' Handbook very seriously. All student-athletes are expected to adhere to the Handbook, and athletes must indicate that they have received and read the rules before they can begin the season.
