RMC's Melissa McCoy (Kingston, Ont.) was a standout player for her squad, finishing with 28 points, including three service aces and 10 digs.
Her Windsor counterpart was Kaila Seguin (Windsor, Ont.), recording 19 points.
QUEEN'S 3, WESTERN 0
At Queen's, the Gaels handily defeated the Western Mustangs 3-0 (25-19, 25-16, 31-29).
Leading the way for the Tricolour were Colleen Ogilvie (Calgary) and Natalie Gray (Oshawa, Ont.), each with 14 points.
Ogilvie recorded 12 kills and five digs, while Gray finished with 14 kills and 12 digs.
BROCK 3, WATERLOO 2
At Waterloo, the Brock Badgers turned in a gutsy performance, beating the Waterloo Warriors 3-2 (25-13, 16-25, 17-25, 25-17, 16-14).
Brock's win was bolstered by the exceptional play of trio Erin Mercer (Rockwood, Ont.), Rachel Roorda (St. George, Ont.), and Shannon Anderson (Newmarket, Ont.), with 14, 12, and 11 points respectively.
A pair of Warriors also put on a show. Bojana Josipovic (Kitchener, Ont.) finished the match with 11 kills and 11 digs, and Kate Flanagan (Burlington, Ont.) scored 13 kills and 13 digs.
MCMASTER 3, GUELPH 0
At Guelph, the McMaster Marauders shutout the Guelph Gryphons 3-0 (25-18, 25-20, 25-12).
McMaster's Kailee Stock (Newmarket, Ont.) and Shannon McRobert (Whitby, Ont.) combined for 28 points.
OTTAWA 3, YORK 2
At Ottawa, the Gee-Gees prevailed at home with a 3-2 (27-25, 18-25, 23-25, 25-22, 15-12) win over the York Lions.
Noteworthy performances were had by Ottawa's Karina Krueger Schwanke (Blumenau, Brazil) with 15 kills and 25 digs and York's Kristina Vlcek (Toronto) with 14 kills and 15 digs.
LAURIER 3, BROCK 0
At Wilfrid Laurier, in a match that featured three consecutive sets with identical scores, the Golden Hawks swept the Brock Badgers, 3-0 (25-18, 25-18, 25-18).
The purple and gold were lead by outside hitter Tesca Andrew-Wasylik (Unionville, Ont.) with 15 kills and 13 digs. Teammate Kaitlin Sauder (St. Jacobs, Ont.) also helped the cause with 12 kills and eight digs.
WESTERN 3, RMC 0
At RMC, the Western Mustangs shutout the RMC Paladins, 3-0 (25-18, 25-20, 25-15).
Mustang rookie Danielle Marshall (Kelowna, B.C.) earned 10 points in the affair, including six kills and four blocks.
Despite the loss, RMC's Norah Collins (Cedar Valley, Ont.) was fantastic, finishing the night with 12 kills and seven digs.
QUEEN'S 3, WINDSOR 0
At Queen's, the Gaels earned their second shutout victory of the weekend with a 3-0 (25-23, 25-20, 25-23) victory over the Windsor Lancers, thanks in large part to the play of duo Colleen Ogilvie (Calgary) and Natalie Gray (Oshawa, Ont.).
The pair put on an offensive show, combining for 27 kills.
MCMASTER 3, TORONTO 2
At Toronto, the McMaster Marauders emerged victorious after battling through five sets with the Toronto Varsity Blues. Set scores were 25-22, 26-28, 25-23, 18-25, 15-10.
Hamilton, Ont. native Sarah Kiernan led the Marauders with 16 points, including eight kills and six blocks.
Toronto's Kristina Valjas (Toronto) was also a match standout, earning 25 points with an impressive 20 kills and 11 digs.
WATERLOO 3, OTTAWA 0
At Ottawa, the Waterloo Warriors hastily defeated the Ottawa Gee-Gees, winning 3-0 (25-23, 25-21, 25-15).
Effective team play resulted in Waterloo's win, with Bojana Josipovic (Kitchener, Ont.), Laura Klein (Kitchener, Ont.), Laura Ledas (Kanata, Ont.), and Kate Flanagan (Burlington, Ont.) each scoring eight or more points.
RYERSON 3, YORK 1
At York, the Ryerson Rams disposed of the York Lions with a 3-1 victory (25-21, 21-25, 25-16, 25-10).
Numerous players from both teams turned in brilliant performances, notably York's Kristina Vlcek (Toronto) and Sarah Sutton (Scarborough, Ont.) with 13 kills and 17 digs respectively, and Ryerson's Jennifer Williams (Stoney Creek, Ont.) with 14 kills and 12 digs.
