The game was a sloppy affair with the teams turning over a combined the ball 15 times. McMaster had 8 turnovers (3 fumbles, 3 interceptions and 2 turnover on downs). Queen's had 7 turnovers (5 fumbles, with 3 fumbles resulting in loss of possession, 1 interception and one turnover on downs) McMaster held the advantage in net yardage with 354 yards to Queen's 243, but Queen's won the time of possession battle holding the ball for 35:38 versus McMaster's 21:40.
McMaster fourth year quarterback, Adam Archibald (Kingston, ON) completed 20 passes in 35 attempts for 238 yards and 2 touchdowns. McMaster fifth-year receiver, Jon Behie (Burlington, ON), playing in his final game for the Marauders had 7 catches for 98 yards and a touchdown. McMaster fourth year receiver, Jordan Charter (Brantford, ON) had 4 receptions for 74 yards and a touchdown. On the ground, McMaster's Andre Sadeghian (Beamsville, ON) had 18 carries for 97 yards.
Queen's pivot, Danny Brannagan (Burlington, ON) completed 14 passes in 26 attempts for 171 yards. Queen's receiver, Robb Bagg (Kingston, ON) had 5 catches for 76 yards. Brad Smith had four receptions for 36 yards and 2 touchdowns for the Tri-colour.
The Queen's running game saw Mike Giffin carry the ball 23 times for 75 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Defensively McMaster received strong play from their Senior's. Defensive back, Byron Dinter (Brampton, ON) had 5 tackles, 1 assisted tackle and 1 forced fumble. Defensive lineman, Andrew Jones had 5 tackles, 1 sack and 1 fumble recovery. Linebacker, Jason Arakgi (Oakville, ON) had 5 tackles on the day. McMaster fifth year safety, Jesse Card (Ottawa, ON) added another interception to add to his outstanding career totals.
Queen's were led by linebacker, D.J. Mulholland (Kingston, ON) with 6 tackles and an interception. Fellow linebacker, Terrence \"T.J\" Leeper (London, ON) had 6 solo tackles.
Queen's will advance to play an OUA Semi-Final against the OUA first place University of Ottawa (7-1 in conference season play). The University of Western Ontario Mustangs, who upset the University of Windsor 20-16 will travel to OUA second place finishers, Wilfrid Laurier in the \"other\" OUA Semi-Final.
