BACK-TO-BACK SHUT OUTS FOR THE GOLDEN HAWKS
Laurissa Kenworthy had a goal and two assists to lead the Hawks past the Lions 5-0 on Saturday afternoon in Waterloo. On Sunday, Laurier erupted for 4 goals on 12 shots in the middle stanza as they cruised to a 6-0 victory over the hometown Windsor Lancers. Kenworthy scored the game winning goal mid-way through the first period on Sunday while Merrit Blundy paced the Hawks attack with a pair of markers. Cindy Eade has now posted three consecutive shutouts and has not allowed a goal in her past 211 minutes and 23 seconds.

The University of Toronto Varsity Blues (13-5-1-1) maintained their three point lead atop the OUA East Division with a 1-0 whitewash of the Lancers. Amy Caldwell scored the game winning goal for the Blues 6:36 into the third period as Lisa Robertson posted the shutout turning aside 22 Windsor attempts.
The Brock Badgers had a chance to gain four points on the Blues this weekend as the team from St. Catharines played three times, but were only able to pull off a single victory against a pair of defeats. The Badgers (12-6-1-1) we topped 6-1 by the visiting Queen's Golden Gaels on Friday night as Michelle Clark-Crumpton netted a hat-trick and added a helper in the victory. With the win, Queen's moves to within three points of Brock with two games remaining in the season.
The Badgers knocked off the Lancers 6-3 on Saturday outscoring the Blue and Gold 4-1 in the second period en route to the victory. Kate Allgood scored four times in a five point performance for the Badgers. Brock was downed 5-2 by Guelph on Sunday.
The Gryphons swept their weekend home stand, knocking off the Gaels 6-5 on Saturday. Bianca Kitts and Nicole Lateille each had three points to pace the Gryphs. Guelph 15-3-2) kept pace with Laurier in the race for first place in the West Division with the aforementioned victory over Brock. Guelph scored three times in the opening three and a half minutes of the game to down the Badgers 5-2.
The Waterloo Warriors (7-10-3-1) clinched their first ever playoff berth with a 4-1 road victory over the Western Mustangs (2-10-8-1) on Saturday at Thompson Arena. Kirsten Lindstol had a three goal performance (2G 1A) for the Warriors who will face the second seed in the East Division in the opening round of the playoffs in two weeks time.
