"This is something you are a part of forever," said the 25-year-old graduate, who passed for a team-record 9,885 yards and 79 touchdowns over five seasons, ending in 2008.

uOttawa held its annual Garnet and Grey scrimmage with about 40 players under overcast skies in windy conditions at the Sports Complex.
"Even though it was kind of cold, it was good to get out and have a real practice," said Gee-Gees defensive tackle Sebastien Tetrault of Granby, Que., who will play his fourth season when training camp begins in August.
"For sure we have more young guys than in previous years."
"This is my fifth spring ball," said fullback Craig Bearss, one of four Gee-Gees (defensive back Maxime Bedard, running back Davie Mason, and linebacker Mike Cornell) eligible for the May 2 CFL draft.
"I don't have any expectations," Bearss, 24, said. "Either way I'll be playing football in the fall."
