THUNDERWOLVES TAKE MEN'S HOCKEY PROGRAM IN DIFFERENT DIRECTION
Citing underachievement by the program and lack of success in the Queen's Cup and the national championships, the team's board of directors decided upon this change. McKee served for two years as head coach and posted a 57-27-1-2 overall mark at the helm of the Wolves.
Lakehead Athletics director Tom Warden said that Lakehead Athletics and Thunderwolves Hockey were very appreciative of McKee's contributions to Lakehead Hockey.
"We would like to thank Don for his hard work and efforts on behalf of Thunderwolves Hockey and we wish him all the best in the future."
