QUEEN'S NEW NO. 2 TEAM IN CIS FOOTBALL
Queen's entered the game ranked No. 4, but forced the Mustangs into 12 turnovers to move into sole-possession of first place in the OUA football standings. Queen's (5-0), No. 1 Laval Rouge et Or (4-0) and the No. 3 Saint Mary's Huskies (4-0) remain the only unbeaten teams in Canadian university football. With the loss, Western falls to No. 5.
It wasn't the only upset of Top 10 teams in OUA last weekend, as the Windsor Lancers upended the Ottawa Gee-Gees by a 40-38 count. As a result, the Gee-Gees fall two spots to No. 7.
Both Windsor and the Laurier Golden Hawks were other OUA teams to receive votes by the CIS Football Top Ten Committee.
