TICKETS FOR 101ST YATES CUP NOW ON SALE
HAMILTON, Ont. - Tickets for the 101st Yates Cup, the Ontario University Athletics (OUA) football championship, to be held Nov. 8, 2008 at TD Waterhouse Stadium in London, Ont., are now on sale to the general public.
Prices are $25.00 and $20.00 each. Students may purchase tickets for $15.00 while children ages 2-12 can buy tickets at $10.00 each. Children 2 and under are free.
Tickets can also be used for the Nov. 8 OUA men's and women's basketball games between Western and Carleton at Alumni Hall (women – 6 p.m., men - 8 p.m. tipoffs) or for the men's hockey game between Western and Brock at 7 p.m. at Thompson Arena.
Tickets are available by phone by calling 519-488-1012 or online at ticketmaster.ca. Yates Cup tickets can also be purchased on the campus of The University of Western Ontario at the Alumni Hall ticket windows between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. from Nov. 3 to Nov. 7. Western Mustangs season-ticket holders may purchase their season-ticket seat(s) by calling 519-661-4077.
The 101st Yates Cup is presented by Pioneer Petroleums. The Western Mustangs host the Ottawa Gee-Gees in a battle of the last two Yates Cup champions. Kickoff is at 1 p.m. on Nov. 8 and can be seen nationally on The Score.
