TORONTO 5, RYERSON 0
TORONTO, Ont. - The No. 6 Toronto women started off strong, as second-year defender Nav Deol (Mississauga, Ont.) deked out Ryerson goalkeeper Misha Maric (Toronto, Ont.) to put the Blues up by one in the fourth minute of the game.
Mississauga native Laura Machado continued the offensive press as she hammered a free kick into the top corner just 12 minutes later to give the Blues a 2-0 at the half.
Toronto maintained control of the play throughout the rest of the game. First-year striker Juliana Bergin (Barrie, Ont.) escaped her defender with a nifty move to send the Blues third goal into the far corner of the net.
Melanie Seabra (Brampton, Ont.) joined the rush and scored one of her own before Jennifer Siu (London, Ont.) tallied the final goal of the game off a slick one-touch passing play as Toronto came away with the 5-0 win.
Fourth-year veteran Mary Anne Barnes (Scarborough, Ont.) controlled every shot that came her way and earned the shutout for the Blues.

QUEEN'S 2, RMC 0
KINGSTON, Ont. - Jen Hutchinson (St. John’s, Nfld.) was a dominate force as the Gaels defeated Royal Military College (RMC) 2-0 at Richardson Stadium.
Hutchinson who had a goal and an assist along with three shots in the game led the team to numerous break-ways and clear shots. Despite first half pressure by Hutchinson and ball control by Queen's they were unable to take the lead.
Hutchinson continued her great play in the second half slipping by the defenders with ease getting great chances to score. In the 63rd minute Hutchinson broke free and fed the ball across the goal crease to her team mates. RMC defender Jessica Hawn (Owen Sound, Ont.) tried to intercept the pass but inadvertently deflected the ball into her own goal for the score. Hutchinson was awarded the goal.
Just 13 minutes later Hutchinson on another break fired a shot which RMC goaltender Erica Pesotto (Milton, Ont.) stopped. The rebound went to Cristina Senese (Mississauga, Ont.) who put it away to give the Gaels a 2-0 lead.
Katie McKenna (Oakville, Ont.) was not challenged in this game as RMC was unable to get any offence rendering only one shot on target. McKenna’s shutout is her fifth shutout of the season which puts her in a tie atop the CIS for shutouts this season.
