MCNUTT NAMED NEW RAVENS WOMEN'S SOCCER COACH
McNult, who is the provincial/regional coach for the Ontario Soccer Association, comes to Carleton with 10 years of coaching experience, including a one-year stint in Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS) as an assistant coach with the Memorial Seahawks in Atlantic University Sport (AUS). McNult received his under graduate and graduate degrees from the University of Liverpool and earned his UEFA "A" License in July, 2006 in the United Kingdom.
In addition to Memorial, McNult has coached the Canmore United men's football club in Canmore, Alta., and was the Women's English Premier League assistant coach for the Liverpool Football Club. McNult will bring experience in player development, technical and tactical player analysis and experience in running and coaching in various clinics, camps and community youth centers both in England and Canada.
He becomes the fourth head coach in the program's 23-year history and inherits a team that has gone to the Ontario University Athletics "Final Four" women's soccer tournament the past two seasons, finishing fourth out of 16 provincial university teams each year.
