CARLETON BASKETBALL PROGRAMS TO HOST NCAA SCHOOLS
OTTAWA - The Carleton University Ravens men's and women's basketball programs will once again tip off their CIS season with exhibition games against NCAA schools.
The six-time national champion men's basketball team will take on three NCAA Division I opponents beginning with the University of New Mexico Lobos on Friday, August 13 at 7 p.m. The University of Maine Black Bears will visit the Ravens' Nest on Saturday, August 28 at 1 p.m. The Ravens final exhibition game against an NCAA school is set for Saturday, Sept. 4 at 6 p.m. as the team faces the University of Cincinnati Bearcats in the CAN-AM Shootout at Scotiabank Place.
The Ravens women's team, which is coming off the most successful season in the history of the program, will host two Division I schools. The University of Tennessee at Martin Skyhawks will travel to the Ravens' Nest on Tuesday, August 17 at 7 p.m. Carleton's second NCAA opponent is Manhattan College. The Ravens will face the Jaspers on Friday, August 27 at 7 p.m.
