Ron Foxcroft appointed to FIBA Study Centre Decisional Board

MADRID, Spain - Ron Foxcroft, founder and C.E.O of Fox 40 International Inc. was in Spain on Oct 28^th where he was appointed to the FIBA (Federation International Basketball Association) Study Center decisional board during their 13^thmeeting in Madrid. Aldo Vitale, Director of the FIBA Study Centre stated, “FIBA appointed Ron Foxcroft, because of his experience and knowledge in International Business, and long history with the game of basketball.”

The FIBA Study Centre is the division of FIBA that deals with the approval of basketball equipment and the construction of basketball facilities. The objective has been to attain a high standard of quality, safety, and technology for the athletes, the public, and the media. The Study Centre strives to create a certain level of consistency and excellence with the mission of growing the game of basketball worldwide and also advises the FIBA Technical Commission on rule changes.

Ron (Foxcroft) became an accredited FIBA official in 1973 and his career was highlighted when he officiated the 1976 Olympic basketball gold medal game in Montreal. Foxcroft has proudly accepted his appointment as a decisional board member and is delighted to continue working closely with FIBA.

Foxcroft’s Hamilton based company Fox 40 International Inc. has been an official supplier for FIBA since 1987, supplying standard game equipment such as referee whistles and coaching boards.
