NO. 7 WARRIORS AVOID PLAYOFF ELMINATION IN MEN'S HOCKEY
WINDSOR, Ont. - The No. 7 nationally-ranked Waterloo Warriors men's hockey team narrowly avoided elimination on Friday with a 4-3 win over the Windsor Lancers in Game 2 of their best-of-three OUA West series.
Chris Ray, Shane Hart, Kyle Sonnenburg and Mike Veysey all scored for the Warriors, while Kyle Nishizaki, Josh Gaynor and Matt McCready replied for the Lancers.
A sudden death Game 3 will be played between these teams at the Columbia Icefield Arena in Waterloo, Ont. on Sunday at 2 p.m.
