Ray led the division with four shorthanded goals.
Teammate Kyle Sonnenberg (Waterloo, Ont.) is the West defencemen of the year. Sonnenberg scored three goals this season, all on the power play, while contributing 16 points overall. The architect of the Warriors is Brian Bourque who earns West coach of the year honours. Waterloo was in a fight to the finish this year in the West, ultimately finishing one point out of first place in the standings. The Warriors featured five all-star players. Kiriakou headlines the West all-rookie team.

Soares was aces this season with 11 goals (including one shorthanded) and 11 assists for 22 points, all the while accumulating just four penalty minutes the entire season.
Western Mustangs captain Luc Martin (St. Thomas, Ont.) is the West nominee for the CIS Randy Gregg Award, given to the player who best exhibits outstanding achievement in hockey, academics and community involvement. The academic all-Canadian is currently in his second year working on his PhD in sports psychology and represented all Western athletes at the head table at the London Sports Celebrity Dinner. Martin is actively involved in the community working with minor hockey teams and Special Olympics.
Joining Ray and Sonnenberg as West first-team all-stars is Waterloo teammate and goaltender Keaton Hartigan (Kitchener, Ont.). Forwards Paul Bradley (Calgary) of the Wilfrid Laurier Golden Hawks and Keaton Turkiewicz (Brantford, Ont.) of the Mustangs, along with Western defenceman Geoff Killing (Embro, Ont.) also earn first-team honours.
