RAVENS MEN'S HOCKEY TEAM PART WAYS WITH HEAD COACH
OTTAWA - Carleton University announced on Friday that it has ended its four-year relationship with men's hockey head coach Fred Parker. The university was unable to reach a contract agreement with Mr. Parker.
"We want to thank Fred for his commitment to Ravens hockey and for helping to build a strong foundation for the program," said Jennifer Brenning, director, Department of Recreation and Athletics, Carleton University. "It is unfortunate that we were unable to reach an agreement with Fred. In the interest of long-term stability for the program and the players Carleton was looking for a multi-year commitment and he was not comfortable with that. We wish him well in whatever comes next."
Carleton has already begun the process of looking for a replacement.
